Alice Garlitz is my paternal
grandmother, b. May 9, 1874 (Bible) - (death certificate has 1877)
in Somerset Co, PA. d. Sept 11, 1918 @10 AM in Cumberland,
Allegany, MD @ Allegany Hospital (now Sacred Heart Hospital) .Burial
was @ Methodist Church in Cresaptown, Allegany Co, MD. No marker.
Her grave along with others was moved when the church built an
addition.
Marriage: George E. McDonald,
Date and place as yet unknown. Cannot find a record in Allegany Co.
MD. They may have married in PA or the records were lost during one
of the fires in the Allegany Co. Court House.
