He died on 27 January 1824 in Greenville Twp., Somerset Co., PA, at age 56. Anna Mary Magdalena was also known as Magdalena. She went to OH with her daughter Margaret Rebecca and son-in-law, George LONG c. 1845. She died in Coshocton Co. OH 27 November 1848 and is buried in the Berger Shutt Cemetery in nearby Holmes Co. OH. Her tombstone reads, "Magdalena, wife of Peter Keefer."
