PATRICK F. GARLITZ Patrick F. Garlitz, 54, Star Route, Frostburg, Md., was dead on arrival Aug. 13, 1980 at Sacred Heart Hospital. A native of Avilton, he was a son of the late William B. Garlitz and Mary (McKenzie) Garlitz. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Avilton, a veteran of World War II, and the American Legion, Frostburg, Md. Surviving are his widow, Clara (Rowe) Garlitz; one son, William Garlitz, Star Route, Frostburg; three daughters, Miss Robin Garlitz, at home; Mrs. Mary Ann Green, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Dalene Rae, Vale Summit; five brothers, Roy Garlitz, Harry Garlitz, Herbert Garlitz, and Albert Garlitz, all of Avilton, and Ira Garlitz, Eckhart; four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Mason, Frostburg, Mrs. Beulah Hetz, Avilton; Mrs. Alma Durst and Mrs. Freda Minnick, both of Moscow; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Anne's Catholic Church, Avilton by the Rev. William Dalton. Burial is in the parish cemetery.
