IRA A. GARLITZ Ira A. Garlitz, 54, Frostburg, Md., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1986, at his residence. Born March 9, 1931, in Avilton, Md., he was the son of the late William Garlitz and Mary (McKenzie) Garlitz. A truck driver for Phoenix Construction Company, he was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Grantsville. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Betty C. Garlitz; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Rhoda Peterson, Madison, Wis.; three brothers, Roy Garlitz, Harry Garlitz and Albert Garlitz, all of Lonaconing, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Durst and Mrs. Freda Minick, both of Barton, Md.; Mrs. Shirley Mason, Frostburg, Md. and Mrs. Beulah Hetz, Lonaconing, Md. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. Services were conducted at St. Ann's Church, Avilton, Saturday at 10 a.m., with Father William Moody officiating. Interment St. Ann's Cemetery.
